MongoDB is a document-oriented NoSQL database, perfect for high traffic and intensive load environments.
The MongoDB databases uses the mongod daemon to create log files of what happened with the database while in usage.
Edda works by taking mongod log files, parsing, analyzing, and presenting them as simple to understand node graphs.
Each node is a MongoDB database server, and their status is easily represented with the help of a simple icon set.
Relations between servers are also displayed, depending on the server status and the log files.
At the bottom of the Edda page, there's also a slider which will help database administrators navigate the timeline and see what changed in the database as time passed by.
